In Birmingham's heart, OMNOM—the fourth branch of the UK's beloved vegan restaurant—transforms dining into spiritual practice. Rooted in ISKCON principles, the 9,500 square-foot space embodies grounding through material truth.

Every surface honors this philosophy. Walls wear hand-applied mud plaster—breathing, acoustic, alive. A terracotta jali screen at the entrance filters light and intention, marking the threshold between street and sanctuary. Inside, a 50-year-old wooden mandir houses marble Krishna and Radha idols, inviting blessings before meals.

"The details are not the details. They make the design," as Charles Eames understood. Here, fabric artworks depicting holy Indian temples cover walls, while wooden furniture and woven pendant lights reinforce tactile warmth. Platform seating with bolster cushions references traditional chowki dining—low, grounded, embodied.

The glass conservatory offers contrast: floor-to-ceiling transparency where guests dine beneath Birmingham's shifting skies, surrounded by greenery.
